- TTI & TTSP Fellowships applications deadlines - Friday the 15th of Feb. for TTSP application and Monday the 12th of Feb. for the TTI application

- Oracle Calendar replaced by Microsoft Exchange - Oracle Calendar will cease to be available at the University on January 15, 2008, and university faculty and staff who have been using it are now migrating to Microsoft Exchange for their calendaring needs. Learn more about the migration to Exchange at UVa. To create an offline agenda, follow the instructions on ITCWeb (PC | MAC | Linux)

- COLLAB is going to replace TOOLKIT : For more information about Collab, visit the Collab portal

- Eudora users - IMPORTANT NOTICE : If you are using Eudora version 6.1 or earlier, the email system changed. To make sure you can continue logging in as usual, you should upgrade to a new Eudora version from ITC's Software Central

- FTP : if you use a File Transfer Protocol to upload/download your files, you will have to use a secured one (i.e. SecureFX for PCs or Fugu for Macs).

ABOUT TTSP

The Teaching + Technology Support Partners (TTSP) program is a component of the Teaching + Technology Initiative (TTI). The TTSP program is organized around a team of graduate students specifically trained to meet faculty technological needs in participating departments over a three-year period.

The TTS partners participate in special training sessions organized by ITC and Teaching Resource Center staff members. These sessions are designed to train TTS partners so that they can offer faculty members in departments selected for the program a menu of specific technological and pedagogical innovations.

Partners are available to provide one-on-one assistance as faculty members integrate these tools into their teaching. In addition, partners have extensive information on resources throughout the university community and are able to provide fast and accurate referrals to experts related to these various resources.
