Current TTSP: Amanda French

I began as the Teaching with Technology Support Partner in the summer of 2001. I can be reached either at englttsp@virginia.edu or at alf7e@virginia.edu, and I am always happy to schedule appointments for one-on-one consultations or tutorials. Periodically I plan and conduct departmental workshops.

Amanda French, TTSPI am an advanced Ph.D. candidate in English (ABD), and I have taught many courses, including Growing Up In Fiction, Studies in Poetry, Masterpieces of British Literature II, Introduction to Composition, Advanced Academic Composition, and History of English Literature I, II, and III. My dissertation is being directed by Professor Stephen Cushman; it concerns the history of the villanelle.

I have worked on the Rossetti Archive with Professor Jerome McGann and in the Electronic Text Center, and I have built several web sites. I can teach many technology skills, including classroom projection, the use of audiovisual materials in the classroom, image and text scanning, and web site development.

See my personal web site at http://www.people.virginia.edu/~alf7e for more about me. Read more about the TTSP program at http://cti.itc.virginia.edu/tti/ttsp.html.
