An interesting site with animated videos showing how sounds are pronounced in English.

Sounds of English


Provides in-depth instructions on how to pronounce sounds in English.

University of Minnesota Common Questions


A site for foreign T.A.s to practice their classroom dialogue.  It plays audio recordings of "common questions" asked by students, and then quizzes you on the appropriate answers.

Purdue's OWL site has a number of useful resources for helping students to improve their writing skills.
