Putting Handouts, Articles, Class Notes on the Web
Do you get frustrated when you've handed something out in
class and students are absent... then, in the next class
the copies are still on your office desk (or worse, at
home!) and students are asking for their copy? You can
eliminate this problem through Toolkit!
There is a free scanning service at the library where you
can fill out a short form, attach your article, handout, classnotes,
exam review sheets, etc., and it will be scanned in and placed
on the MATERIALS section of your Toolkit page. This
usually takes less than 24 hours. Students can then access
your materials whether they've made it to class or not --
and whether or not their dog eats it once they've gotten
home! No more extra photocopies for you and an extra
convenience for your students.
*** THIS SERVICE EVEN WORKS WITH NON-ROMAN CHARACTER FONTS!***
The drop box for scanning is in Alderman library, past the
Greenberry's Cafe, to the right of the LEO ILL office
inside a filing cabinet. If in doubt, ask your TTSP or a librarian
for assistance!
