Abstract:

This site is basically a collection of links to 14 different web-sites, mostly of an educational nature about the Salem witch trials, 17thc. New England, and the history of witch hunts. Almost all of the links provided connect to legitimate primary sources of information, such as Yale Law School, the Salem Witch Museum, Best Witches, Library of Congress, and Famous American Trials, to name a few. Direct links from the page to the biographies on the Famous American Trials site are provided for prominent figures in the trial such as Susanna Martin, Tituba, Rebecca Nurse, John Proctor, and Bridget Bishop, to name a few. The sites' largest drawback is the absence of a defined order to the listing of the web-sites, and the 3 inactive links listed. In addition, there are a few images from the trials, but several of them did not load.
