Purpose: This site serves to educate the public on the testimonies of the accused witches, as well as to provide information on current cultural activities. Also, it gives several tourist links.
Author: University of Kansas City Students.
Design Elements: The site is fairly legible. Some of the graphics should be either centered on the pages, or modified into a bigger font size. The links to the site are easily accessible. Most of the text is clear, except that some of the color contrasts prove to make reading a tad difficult.
Special Features:
The site has graphics of Salem during the time of the trials, as well as Salem today. Also, it gives current weather conditions in Salem.

Scope: This site is fairly well-rounded. It ranges from recounting some of Salem's dark history, to giving information on current educational groups that deal with the Salem witch trials, to providing a rich amount of tourist information. The authenticity of the website documents vouches for the author's credibility. In the descriptive pieces, credibility is a function of the description itself. This author's descriptions do not appear to be overly dramatic.
