THE DRAWINGS OF LEONARDO DA VINCI

INTRODUCTION AND INFORMATION

This site has been created under the auspices of the Visual Resources Collection of the McIntire Department of Art at the University of Virginia. It was designed as a study guide giving students access to a large selection of Leonardo's drawings; it is by no means comprehensive and represents only a fraction of Leonardo's most important graphic works. The site has been organized according to the categories generally used to organize Leonardo's drawings in the catalogs by Kenneth Clark and A.E. Popham. The images in this site are subject to Copyright Restrictions and are for educational use only.
