Pyanka Tutor

In order for you to learn to make Ukrainian pysanky yourself, we have made an instructional CD. This CD contains all the information shown on this website AND an interactive instructional program, Pysanka Tutor. This program was made by the same techniques as the Virtual House and contains 47 QuickTime Object Movies, normal movies, and instructions.

The advantage of our program is that it lets you rotate and tilt the egg at each stage of the dyeing sequence.

The program is too large to place on this web site, but we are considering selling the CD for $15 plus mailing costs.

To get an idea of the content of the CD, play the video below. But remember, the actual CD will allow the egg to be rotated and tilted by you at each step. Also, the pictures are at a much higher resolution and quality.
