| The wedding of Serhii Mykolaiovych Brovarets to Zoia Ivanivna Zaiets. This is the church ceremony, as opposed to the civil ceremony which took place the day before. The church is a converted village house. Here the priest is getting out the crowns. First he prays over them. Then he has the appropriate member of the couple (the groom first) kiss the crown. Then he hands the groom's crown to the boiaryn and the bride's crown to the druzhka, who then hold the crowns over the head of the appropriate person (the groom for the boiaryn and the bride for the druzhka). The crowns must not be held with the naked hand, but with a kerchief.
