This capital and capital 36 are exact duplicates. However, the upper left corner of the main composition on the east face is broken on capital 36, and intact here.
The foliage creates a wonderful surface design, coupled with a leaf-and vine impost. The decorated surface is an essential component of the Romanesque style.
The incised upper moulding of the impost is repeated on several other capitals.
