Simulation 4: Combining Concepts
The three concepts just discussed are
useful in understanding Alexander Graham Bell's design. The
circuit in the window is a combination of some of these concepts
which will allow you to start piecing things together.
In this design, the user would speak into the yellow membrane placed above the beaker and by utilizing the appropriate liquid level, sound is transmitted through electricity. Determine how the circuit works, and adjust the liquid level to an appropriate level. Once the circuit works, you should receive some form of feedback. (if your machine is not equipped with sound capabilities, you will see several sound waves leaving the speaker).
