Reminders . . . 
1. Tuesday, April 4, 2000 -- New Associates Panel at 4:30 
in SL 262
   Jody Calemine & Dana Buckman, 1999 UVA Law grads, will 
return to discuss their first year in the "real world" -- 
Jody & Dana were co-presidents of VELLA last year and their 
panel is a do not miss! Hope to see you there.

2. Wednesday, April 26, 2000 -- VELLA Year-End Potluck 
around 6:45 pm at Rip Verkerke's house
   We know it's the last week of classes, but even when 
you're studying for finals (or not) you still have to eat! 
Last year we had 2 dinners at Rip's and much fun was had by 
all!! Come bring your favorite dish & enjoy the company of 
students & faculty ! RSVP TBA.

New Events. . .
1. Friday, April 7, 2000 -- Admitted Students Activity Fair
   VELLA will be having a table at the admitted students 
activity fair & we could use a few people to staff the 
table . . . answer questions, pass out candy and look like 
you're having fun. The table needs to be staffed from 
around 11:30 am thru about 1 pm. Plus, you get to take home 
any leftover candy! E-mail Wendy if you'd be available to 
help out.

2. Saturday, April 15, 2000 -- 5K fun run/walk **NEW**
   The McIntire Marketing Association & Reebok are 
organizing a fun run fundraising contest . . . all UVA 
organizations are invited to participate and the group with 
the most entrants will win the entry fees. This could be a 
great way to get in your exercise, your VELLA event for the 
season, and help raise funds for VELLA events in the 
2000-2001 school year. E-mail Wendy if you might be 
interested in the race! Plus, there are goodies available 
for entrants (e.g. Reebok gear, etc.).
