The Grace of the Sande Woman
				The Sande mask is danced in celebration of newly emerging young Mende women. The elegant, sophisticated young woman who have accomplished a great transformation over the past several weeks follow the dancer to greet their friends and family and people of their town in a festivity deserving of their wonderful achievement as the composed, gracious ladies of the Sande society.
