Senior Shows Information

(space availability updated today, follow this link)

(last updated on April 1, 2004)

The following is information that is partially repetitive of what was discussed during our three meetings (in November 2003 , February and March 24). Please check this page often for updates.

If you are graduating this year, you have to organize an exhibition of your work. For most of you this will be in the spring .

The responsibility for coordinating all aspects of this show, from its artistic concept down to work and the last nail you will hammer is yours. This includes the necessary funds for framing, an invitation cards, etc.

If a group of students decides to print invitation cards or organize catering collectively, they have to coordinate the above, whether they show in their own spaces or not.

You already have one faculty as your advisor. This teacher is typically the main academic contact in your area.
You consult with your advisor conceptual, aesthetic, technical and professional aspects of your work.

The department is offering a space and provides a timeslot for your exhibition.

If you wish to show in a space of your choice, you can do so - in this case you will need to arrange for all aspects (approval, time, etc).
