Below I am listing individual tasks for some of you.
These do not mean you are stuck with your role for the rest of the semester.
If for some reason you cannot do what I assigned you, you are responsible for finding a replacement.
The editing task is "overkill-staffed" in order to spread the FinalCutPro knowledge.
So.
For our meeting on Wednesday, January 21, when we will be shooting episode one, please do the following:
borrow equipement from the Digital Media Lab:
3 miniDV camcorders (preferably GL1's)
3 tripods
Who's responsible: Diane Lee, Amanda Massey and Linda Vo
Bring lights. by lights I mean incandescent (regular bulbs).
Everyone in the class (including me) will bring one light.
This can be a stylish lamp, a work lamp, anything (except fluorescent).
Who's responsible: everyone
Make a reservation for two workstations at the DML next week, some convenient time after Wednesday.
Make time for work. I will come and help; we will edit whatever we shoot on Wednesday.
Who's responsible for making the reservation: Adam Kerpelma, Lin Qiu
Who's responsible for working: Adam Kerpelma, Lin Qiu, Natasha Byers, Diane Lee
Contact Cal Tate at the Adelphia Studios and make a reservation for Wednesday, January 28. Alternative date: Monday, January 26. Time: exactly during class time. All the contact information for Cal Tate is here. You will have to talk to Cal over the phone. You will also have to go to their web site, download a form and return it to him filled. This can be done over fax or email.
This studio time is needed to shoot episode 2.
