Gas collectors at 100' intervals.  Piping of gas.

Groundwater channels at 200' elevations. Leachate slurry containing walls (unlined cells)
Leachate pumping pipes (lined  + unlined cells)
The landfill systems are in place.
Methane gas is produced by the garbage.  It inhibits plant growth atop cells. Groundwater causes erosion of the soil capping the cells. Leachate is slurry produced within  cells. This liquid can contaminate underground water.
Methane is collected and converted to energy that powers on-site operations. Groundwater is channeled to remediation ponds, which provide clean water. An on-site evaporation plant treats leachate. Landfill concerns are montored/controlled.
