The Bells

The man pictured above, J.F. Bell, was the owner of J.F. Bell Funeral Home, which is still in existence today. Like Coles, he advertised in the Charlottesville city directory. He was also a frequent advertiser in The Reflector.

Like Mrs. Coles, Mrs. Bell was involved with social clubs as well. Her name is mentioned along with Mrs. Coles in the January 27, 1934 "Society Notes of Charlottesvillians" section of The Reflector.
