The Jacksons
The Jacksons were another Four Hundred family.
Like many Four Hundreds, W.E. Jackson (pictured below) was a business owner.
Mr. Jackson owned Jackson Advertising. In the first part of the
twentieth century, only two African-Americans
were proprietors of advertising companies, and Jackson was one of them.
