RE: VELLA Elections --

Dear VELLA members,

I am writing to nominate myself as a potential candidate for 
Vice President of VELLA.  I am a 1L who is very interested 
in various aspects of Employment Law.  

After receiving a general idea (from Wendy and Curtis)about 
the duties and responsibilities the Vice President will have 
next year, I believe that I would be a good candidate.

I would like to help VELLA continue to bring speakers to 
the law school to share their experiences in the employment 
and labor law fields, and help current students develop 
their careers in those fields. 

I would also like to see VELLA gain greater exposure in the 
law school community.  I have several ideas that may help 
the organization achieve this goal.  For example, by 
bringing in practitioners from different sectors of 
employment law, such as sports and entertainment, more 
students may become interested in the organization. 

For the forgoing reasons, I submit my name as a candidate 
for Vice President of VELLA.
