UPCOMING VELLA EVENTS -- mark your calendars now!

**VELLA Potluck dinner at Rip's house**
On Sunday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. VELLA members are invited 
to a potluck dinner at Rip Verkerke's house. This has 
become an annual tradition and much fun is ALWAYS had by 
all! Bring yourself and a dish to share (serving 4-6 
people) and ENJOY!! RSVP to Wendy McCord by Wednesday, 
March 22 – be sure to include the type of dish you'll bring 
(e.g. main dish, side dish, vegetable, bread, beverage, 
dessert, etc.) so we can plan accordingly.

**New Attorney Panel**
On Tuesday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m. in room WB101, 1999 
Virginia Law graduates and practicing Labor and Employment 
Attorneys Dana Buckman and Jody Calemine will be presenting
a panel discussion and a Q&A session on their experiences as
first year associates. Come hear what it has been like for 
them as they transitioned from school to the "real life" 
world of practicing attorney! 

Dana currently works for McGuire Woods Battle & Boothe, and 
Jody works for the CWA. Additionally, Dana & Jody were 
co-presidents of VELLA last year.
Refreshments will be served.
