VELLA get-together

Dear VELLA members,

Welcome back to yet another installment of law school!

We're planning several VELLA events this semester -- the first of which is
a get-together at Hard Times Cafe on the UVA Corner, for beer & food & 
fun with fellow employment & labor law students. If you can come, please
email me and let me know which date works best for you...

Either Thursday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 pm, OR
       Friday, Feb. 12, at 6:30 pm.

Coming attractions...

1.  We're working on guest speakers on the following topics:
		Employees' use of company e-mail
		Recent changes in sexual harassment law
		Practicing labor law, Arguing before the US Supreme Court
	
2.  There may be another VELLA dinner at Prof. Rip Verkerke's house in
late spring.
	
3.  Elections for next year's officers are tentatively scheduled for the
first Tuesday in April.  Stay tuned...
