Dear VELLA members:

I recently received an announcement of a program of fellowships for
students who choose to work next summer for "organizations providing
direct civil legal services for the poor." One possible use of such a
fellowship would be to obtain an internship with
Charlottesville-Albemarle Legal Aid. The total amount that a student
may receive for 10 weeks of summer work is $4,000 (fellowship of $3,250
+ $750 from employer).

For additional information, you should contact Equal Justice America, 98
Larrys Lane, Pleasantville, N.Y. 10570. Their telephone number is
914-747-4933.

Regards,

Rip
